Amy & Eric Stonecipher

Management Team

Eric Stonecipher hails from Rapid City, SD and was introduced at a very young age to hunting and fishing by his father, Carl. He has over 30 years of hunting experience across the US and the globe. Eric has a true passion for hunting and the animals themselves and it shows with every hunt and every season day in and day out. He knows exactly how to show the guest a good time either in the field on a hunt or sitting in front of the fire at the lodge between outings. He strives to make sure everyone that books a hunt at RBR has their dreams come true! Amy Stonecipher is originally from Salesville, OH. She and Eric have been with each other for 18 years and she has helped run the hunting business from day one. Amy has her hand in all day-to-day operations that make RBR what it has become today. From the initial RBR paperwork before your visit, to the hugs goodbye before heading home and she maintains the lodge inside and out, including the landscaping and has been known to mend a fence or two from time to time. She prides herself on every hunt being the greatest experience top to bottom. She welcomes the excitement of all of our hunters old and new and loves to see the smiles on their faces as they book their return visit before they leave the current hunt. She has quite a few people that came in as clients, left as friends and turned into family over the years at RBR. She prides herself on the enjoyment RBR gives to our clients and hunters. Eric and Amy work hand in hand and heart in heart all year long to ensure RBR is ready to receive our guests, hunters, and friends for hunts of a lifetime. They work tirelessly between seasons getting the RBR lodge and property ready for each hunting season. They are also raising two beautiful children in, Dylan and Kaylee that also keep them busy with baseball, basketball, and dance all year long. Eric and Amy are truly the heart and soul or RBR!

Matt Kirchner

Matt Kirchner is a true local boy from Alexandria, MO just a few hours from RBR. He is married to Stephene, his amazing wife of 27 years and has two grown children, one grandson with more grandkids on the way! Grandkids are the BEST! Matt has been in the deer industry for 24 years and is a true professional. He has guided and run the breeding operation for RBR since 2018. Matt works with Eric and Amy all year long on the behind-the-scenes efforts that make the RBR hunting season a success year in and year out. Matt really enjoys the hunting season at the ranch and loves seeing the return clients who are becoming great friends joining him every fall to make more hunting memories and dreams come true. He has been an integral part of the RBR team and family from the inception.

Corey Painter was born and raised in Cleveland, TN. He will be returning for his second season at RBR in 2024. Corey met Eric and started hunting with him in 2009. The Painter and Stonecipher families have become very close over the years and enjoy family hunts whenever they get the chance. Although they live in different states their children are growing up together. Guiding hunts has always been a dream job for Corey. He and his beautiful wife Stephanie opened their own business in 2022 and now Corey can spend some time each year living his dream of helping folks live their dreams at RBR. He has gotten to meet a lot of new and awesome people and has made some great lasting friendships in the field. Probably the thing he loves most about RBR is meeting new clients and building new relationships while sharing the excitement of the hunt with them having the time of their lives!

Christine and Paul love life and live for the moment. They were both born and raised in South Jersey and have been immersed in the love for food and hunting their entire lives. They were introduced to Eric and Amy through family in Ohio and a special thanks to the US postal service for delivering the wrong mail to the wrong address. They became the cooks at RBR after a very special bond and quick friendship was created. They have years of experience creating fun flavors, preparing everything from scratch and priding themselves on exceeding all guest expectations. The two prepare hundreds of meals a season and do their very best to make every guest stay a memorable one. Christine and Paul have found a welcoming friendship that feels like true family working with Team RBR!
