Best of the Best

I was fortunate to hunt with RBR during its inaugural year. Having hunted all over the world that was my first experience hunting at a facility such as RBR. Frankly except for the quality and quantity of exceptional whitetails and exotics, I found the actual hunting no different than what I had experienced in various parts of Africa, Asia, New Zealand and other similar destinations. What truly sets RBR above the best of the best is the individual attention shown to each hunter and guest. Every hunt was fully guided with your pro by your side from daylight to dark (unless you prefer a nap following a 3-star breakfast). RBR has continued to improve and I just completed my fifth hunt there and booked again for next year. There is always an exotic species worth the travel and the whitetails, most of which are born and raised in the wild on RBR, are what hunters dream about. That said, I return as much for the camaraderie as the hunting. The secret to RBR’s success is its dedicated, genuine, gracious staff. Conceivably you might locate another operation with a 10,000 square-feet camp with a huge outdoor covered porch, amenities ranging from a competition quality shooting house to a state-of-the-art processing facility, incredible food, comfortable stands, etc. But what any other facility lacks is Eric and Amy Stonecipher who manage every detail of RBR’s operation from the accommodations, amenities, and hunting procedures to the nightly post-hunt celebration. Eric is a first-class guide with an impressively deep knowledge of the wildlife and how to hunt each species as well as one of the most personable people I have ever met. Amy is simply phenomenal in managing overall day to day operations of RBR and is an impressive hunter and guide to boot. RBR defines quality and luxury from the time you enter its gates. RBR is a place that you might visit for the quality of the game and overall hunting but also the friendships you will undoubtedly develop.
